Cæcilia is a dancer specified in ballet, modern and contemporary dance. She started dancing at a very young age, and has continued dancing ever since. She has a variety of dance training in different styles, and enjoys learning more to expand her knowledge. Furthermore she has experience in performances both on stage and off stage, such as events & festivals. Cæcilia is experimenting both with her dancing but also with other creative work, to merge the arts together and develop it further.

In everything I do, I get influenced by the world around me, and the effect it has on me. I then work with it and try to find out, how I can express the feeling happening inside of me. Usually it comes out in dance, but also in other sources of creative fields, which is where the inspiration for the work behind the pieces usually starts. I am a very visual person, and as soon as I see a visual connection from a sort of art to the thoughts I want to express, I immediately see it for me, and start to create in movements.

I like simplicity and minimalism in art, and this is very much reflected in everything I do. The quote "Less is more" therefore very much resonates with me, as I think a simple picture or visual, can express and tell many different stories, and not only the one you want to tell with it.
