Stop Looking - A dancefilm

Stop Looking is a one-shot dancefilm made in Cæcilia's 1st year of dance education with help and inputs from teacher, dancer & choreographer Marion Sparber. The video is filmed in the studios at Tanzraum Wedding in Berlin.

The concept of the video came from insecurities you can have as a dancer.

What if what I'm creating isn't good enough? What if nobody finds it interesting enough to watch? Will I ever make it in the professional field? Will people judge me?

All of these question are thoughts many dancers are having through out their lives, and people who are not dancers, may also relate to insecurity. The video highlights the insecurities with sentences like "why are you all looking at me?" and "stop looking!" as a reflection of the need to hide away, when feeling insecure. At the end the word "nevermind" shows, that you should not care, and that everything you do, you should feel comfortable about without any judgement, as this is what you chose to do, and nobody should have the right to judge you.
